Im bay testing a 1988 290xf. I really like they lay out, it looks like a clean boat and I think im going to buy it in the next week. Can some of you 290 owners give me some insight into the boat. It has the small block volvo gas engines.

Just my .02 cents on the power, the volvo can be very expensive on parts.  Make sure you get a very good survey or qulaified opinion on current condition.

Compresion test good, passed hull and system inspect. Waiting for them to put it in the water to do the bay test.
