Stringer cam

We really benefitted from this website and those posting pics of stringer layout. Maybe this will assist others as well.
 
Joel stuck his camera where the sun hasn't shown in almost forty years. What a great tool & technique for inspection to save you lots of heartache and build your confidence.
Simply stick your camera (with flash enabled) down in the bilge and point it at the area of interest. Use zoom function to get the far stuff.
It really saved us a lot and gave us confidence to leave this 38 year old girl dressed.
   

screws are from teak trim around baitwell.
 
Geat deck!

The starboard stringer is not attached to transom since it was cut to allow for the drain from the rigging tube that only needed clearance through the top of the stringer?

Great way to see what's what.  What I also see is what isn't there... foam.

Ho-lee!, that is an absolutely great idea, I never thought of it.  I now, cannot wait to get my Dad's digicam and stick it into the bilge and all the inspection plates to see what is what.  I've been dying to know what it looks like down there.  Thanks for the idea.
