yup - you can always grind off and start again if you don't like how it's coming out.

Removing the rub rail has been an educational experience. I found the secondary hull identification number under the rub rail on the port side.


Here is what the prow looks like from the inside of the hull. I initially thought that the foam was a clumsy effort to stop water intrusion through the seam.

When I started to cut away the foam, it became apparent that this had been applied at the factory to close this opening.


I removed all the screws in the hull to deck joint to about one foot past the seam was separated. I’m going to have to think about how to repair all this. Any advice would be welcomed.

The bow had significant damage and the bow is super wavy. Having never faired anything, you think it's doable?

What am I going to do with this, Seriously? Can that monstrosity be faired away? Suggestions please? Also, what is the best way to sand inside corners?
