And I thought the press on the West Coast would be hard on him , can you imagine the field day the New York press will have.

Back to being the Aints!  Lol!  Go Bucs!

Well, just moments ago, nearly lost in the Tim Tebow trade, NFL warden commissioner Roger Goodell took out his judge’s gavel and completely hammered the Saints in their involvement with a bounty program, funded in part by Saints coach Sean Payton laundering money from a convicted felon.

Payton has been suspended for a full season. In addition, assistant Saints coach Joe Vitts has been suspended six games and former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, now at St. Louis, has been suspended indefinitely.

Throw on top of that the Saints also have had two second round picks pulled as part of the penalty, it’s not far-fetched to suggest the glory days of the Saints are done.

Fernando,
That Saints penalty FAR over shadows the Tebow debacle!  Yes, it bodes very well for the Bucs, but at the same time I'd like to see the Bucs beat the Saints with all their pieces/parts in place...

As far as Tebow?  I've never seen such a fuss made over someone who essentially is a backup QB...or maybe a tight end.

We did beat them with all there parts in place even with Raheem driving the ship if you can believe that. The Aints got what they deserved!  The league approached them in 2010 and they were told to stop and they continued.

Agreed!  Not sure how things will turn out, but you have to question the move considering the Jets locker room is already in turmoil.  QB he is not, run the wildcat yes, will the wildcat have success?   Jets... Crash & Burn?  Time will tell, but I believe the Jets will be recruiting a new coaching staff and a new QB in a couple of years.

Maybe Tebow will rub off on Rex Ryan and cure the family foot disease.

I don't know about that early season win against the ain'ts, Fernando.  Almost seemed kinda "flukish" to me.  I mean, we see games all the time that are absolute no brainers on paper, yet put both teams on the field and weird chit happens...

Scott, if Tebow can somehow bring peace and harmony to an effed up organization, perhaps Saint-hood is in order.  I don't see it happening, though.  You have to be in a position to exert a great deal of influence in order to make a difference.  Backup QB isn't that position, as the Jet's have committed to Sanchez via the contract numbers he just signed to.  Should Tebow be thrust into the starting role due to Sanchez' ineffectivity, the existing turmoil level will probably have doubled by that time.  Tough road to hoe, my friend...
