West Marine had NO CLUE.

Next time your in WM, tell them to look on pg.413, upper right corner of their  2010 catalog.
They're much cheaper at the place in the link I provided. I bought mine (fuses) there.

Capt Bob, et al

Thanks for the information. This site is priceless forum of information. I was just ataken aback by the posts. Anyway, I have more Q's if you'll be so kind:

2001 AS 225 EX - I found what appears to be future use wiring inside my cabin, Two sets dangling just under the port and starboard lights. Any idea what they are for?

No the wipers work. It seems like cabin lighting?  The wires have the finished ends (sorry don't know correct terminology).  Both come from the console:the first set ends under the starboard side running light, inside the cabin. The other continues past to port and has enough wire to reach midship inside the cabin.

JD,
I'm pretty sure those are pull wires.  White wire is not used for the hull or deck wiring.  Do they have the corresponding ground wires coiled up with them?  If not, they are pull wires.

I just wet out and looked at my boat and i have them too, there gray wires, looks like excess nav light wires bundled up is all.

It seems when they built these boats they used the same wiring harnesses, like you could take my wires and rig a 25-26 footer.

Bob does that sound about right.

Sounds right to me,
I had miles of extra wire in the WAC.

You can see it bundled up in this pic.

Yours looks good i had enough extra wire from the harness to do a double loop at least the size of a basketball.

At that time, the same harness was used on the 225/245/250 Explorer, the Wellcraft 220/240/260 Coastal.  So, yeah, you could rig a 26 with that harness...

And Bob C2, I'd try an get back in that portside wing and get your wire bundle away from the rod rings.  Better than breaking off a rod tip...

To be honest with you!  I have no idea.  Those are female "quick-disconnects", and typically horns and nav lights will have the male equivalent.  Can you see anything behind the helm panel that might be the other end of those wires?
