Cpt. Beyond:
hello,
im getting close to wiring up my 82 170 and was wondering if anyone recommends using any anti corrosive agent on the connections to the instruments. i will be using terminations from west marine with heat shrink tubing built onto the connector. thanks again
RickK:
I would make all your connections clean and tight and when you're finished then I would apply a little bit of Di-electric grease on top of the connections to seal them up.
Capt. Bob:
You may also consider using a spray coating like Corrosion X or Fluid Film on the connections. I had very good and long lasting results with both when applied to my various gauge connections.
Good luck. :thumright:
Cpt. Beyond:
thanks for the advice fellas, will do
