Replacing throttle
« on: May 01, 2019, 06:08:06 AM »
Hello all, I have read a few pages back and done a search, but not finidng 100% what I need.

I have an '88 Osprey 20 with a 150 Johnson ('99ish) on back.
I am looking to replace the throttle control and cables. I purchased this from Leaders, but it is a touch larger than the original controls.
Is that typical, or is there a better option? I will need to widen the opening if I go this route

Thanks ... and May the Force be with you.

Yup, typical to have to rework the hole.

THanks.  Seems like it may get a bit cramped with that unit and the shifter onthe left side now.  Any other ideas that I may have missed?

The binnacle shifter is on the left side of the console now?  I don't think I've seen one on the left before.
