New canvas on the 225!
« on: August 25, 2010, 10:10:12 PM »
After my T-top canvas ripped last weekend, I knew it was time for a new one.  (I think it was the original- kind of a sea foam green).  Cape Canvas took care of it, and I think it turned out nice. I'd recommend them to anyone in SW Florida needing canvas work.  :thumleft:  I chose the new "marine blue" color from Sunbrella.  Paid $350 installed, and they only had the boat for 2 days.

At my request, they also made a custom T-bag with a U-shaped zipper, which turned out really nice.  MUCH better than the P.O.S. "T-bag" that I had purchased about 10 months ago, which had since ripped, had a broken zipper, and the bungee cord was all stretched out. Don't buy one of those, go custom!  It ran me an extra $240, which was pricey, but I thought worth it.  It's currently holding 6 PFD's with room for 1 or 2 more.

Here's a close-up of the custom T-bag.  Sorry its so hazy.

Thanks fellas.

Here is the most-recent "BEFORE" picture.  You can see how the canvas was torn on the front left corner.  Was that seafoam green a factory install you think?  I'm thinking it was original, but then again I've only had this boat about a year. Prior owners did a few mods, including removing the Aquasport decals from the sides (but I can see the shadows of those decals if the light hits the boat JUST right.)

Want the decals back?  Someone has a post of where you can get the original Aquasport decals...
