Hydraulic hose for tilt/trim down
« on: July 29, 2007, 11:29:48 AM »
Hello Everyone need a little help. i just bought a 1974 AquaSport 19-6 with a 1984 150hp mercury blackmax. My trim down Hose has a leak at the point where it goes from metal to rubber hose at the back of the engine. Any ideas where to get a new one from? Thanx for any help.

Maybe try NAPA. Take the old one in and see what they can do for you. They can make up all sorts of hoses... unless it's a special Mercury hose config.

Trim down hose on an '86 Black Max at the back of the engine?  Are you sure about that?  Maybe a picture would help, but that just does not sound quite right...
