Newbie here, with an old 1976, 170
« on: November 16, 2010, 03:05:56 PM »
Picked up this Aquasport 170 a couple years ago for  couple of hundred bucks. I hadn't paid much attention to it, As I had other boats and other things I was involved with. But I've been taking it a little more seriosly lately, And It's a great boat, I'm pretty impressed with it. I've had a lot of boats and this one ranks up there.

Welcome aboard, and sorry for the less than warm welcome.  The site has been having some issues lately, including disappearing posts.  Nice Boat

Dirty,
The site has been going through major software changes, it's a good possibility that the post was lost, perhaps not seen by any members...

Now, that being said, WELCOME ABOARD!  The old Aquas are impressive boats, beats the hell out of the Genmar Aquas (that I used to build!), I'm sure more will come along and share their experiences, help you out with any questions, and just generally make you feel at home.

Just watch the language.  Even though I use the F-word considerably, we save that for THT!  And even THT doesn't allow that!

First,
Welcome aboard  :salut:

Second, as stated above, there has been problems with the Forum. Posts, with links to pictures as well as pics posted on that date are in fact missing. My posts to a member known as Motorman posted on 16 Nov.are gone but have not returned. Did yours disappear and then reappear? Who knows. It would be a first time that I remember, a new member not to be welcomed by several different members and Fearless Leader (Site Admin). After all he's the Grand High Exalted Mystic Ruler of the vocal 170 group.

But if you been eyeballin' the post for the last two weeks and it's been right there, well......

Do stick around though.
Some of us are like a fungus.

We grow on ya.
