Yep, its pretty embarrassing. Here's the problem. The pics won't load here at work, the camera software is incompatible with my twelve year old 'puter.

But...I can e-mail pics from the home PC. As long as my wife doesn't catch me. She never goes anywhere either. Maybe one morning when she is in the shower?

Scott, please tell us you wrote the above in jest...PLEASE!!!

Yep brothers.....was in jest

Fact is...and ashamed to say it..posting pics...never tried  it. Never been interested/adept at posting pics.

But...I'm one of the first to request pics. Not so fair.

So...in the interim. Will go and take photos of my rebuild. Ain't going fast. The rebuilder is like a dog with a bone. He's fastidious. He's picky. He's slow. And he's very good.

Over the course of the next forty years...don't see where six weeks slow will make a big difference.

Gonna run out there first of the week...and mail the pics to our bestest PR friend...Lew.

Thanks guys. Thanks for spurring us old boys along.

Scott,

To post pics on Classic Aquasport, follow these steps:

1) find a clean glass; ' or not ' works fine too

2) grab a handy bottle of Ol' #12 Geronimo Dickel

3) pour a good two fingers, minimum

4) I can't a'memer them other steps, but I done got you over the hump, its all down hill from here    :drunken:

Trace....thanks pal!

It's still before the bewitching hour, nearly twelve am here on the east coast.

If you'll notice, most of us over here like to get our posts in before the new day. Just looks better I reckon.

Absolutely....I'm challenged on posting pics. Not sure that even a three finger pour will help.

Lew has taken me on as a work in progress. Gonna try

Scott,

Rick is my All-American Deep Blue Hero....

.....he'll git you through it.

The level of difficulty in posting pictures here is somewhere between rigging Quad 300 Mercs after a Jimmy Buffett concert and

die-fuzzin' a misfired potato-gun after a Grateful Dead concert, each with their own unique challenges.

The Ol' # 12 will help you through the tough parts  :salut:

That's where he found the hull. Kind of like the Miss Marco.
Since he will be using some of the stuff off of Miss Marco, i told him he ought to rename it the Miss Marcodelmarva. I think it has a certain ring to it.

Gotcha.. :thumleft:  there are a lot of AS’s in this area. They where one of the most popular boats sold in Delmarva. You still see a number of them. I have two and almost bought another one, much to my wifes chagrin  . A 24 foot. Which sat for a long time before she was sold. At least I think it was. I haven’t seen it for sale lately. :thumright: Ikeep hoping its just off the market till spring. When I may have enought saved to get her. she wae being sold cheap. Just like me. bwahahahaha :D

Say it isn't so Scotty!

"But...I can e-mail pics from the home PC. As long as my wife doesn't catch me. She never goes anywhere either. Maybe one morning when she is in the shower?"

Meow meow, meow meow.

On another note, don't you think it's rather lame to "blame" the Mrs. for your unwillingness to upgrade that abacus you're still using in the shop?
Try helping the economy for crying out loud.
Raise your debt ceiling a couple of grand. Hell, the Feds do it all the time.

Get with the program. Your either with us or against us.

Bob speaks the truth. Blaming the boss is a cheap cop-out.

I actually do need to buy a new unit here at the shop. Need a ton of storage, have a design program that eats it up. Besides, that Windows 2000 is getting a little old

And now...the empirical question..."Are you man or mouse?"

To which I reply....

"Pass the cheeze pleeze"

You're lucking out Scott - you can get a Terrabyte (1000Gig, 1,000,000 Meg) of storage for about...... $59 now-a-days and the longer you wait the cheaper it'll get. That's enough to store probably all the pics you'll ever take and have ever taken plus load all the programs you use
I would get a Network storage device with at least 2-1TB drives to store everything on in a Raid 0 array (dupes it on both in case you lose one drive it all is on the other)
We can chat if you want to know more.

Much appreciated Rick. My main concern is loading the design software again. Your idea of doubles is a great one...inexpensive too.

I have a close friend who works for HP. I can buy anything through his employee discount....time to quit putting it off...
