Trim tabs are a great addition to any Aquasport, Bennett makes a great product.  I prefer Lenco trim tabs myself, I have them on my 19-6 and they work great. As far as sliding in the turns, you may want to consider adding some type of cavitation plate fin. Bob's machine shop makes one that should help with the sliding.

A 4 blade stainless prop will give you a better hole shot and higher top end than you are getting with the aluminum prop you are running now.  I would think either a 19 or 21 pitch for your 150, but it may take some trial and error.

I prefer lennco trim tabs, Bennet do make a good product though too.  Once you have tabs you will never own a boat without them. The 4 blade prop will give you much better handling/cornering too, There are lots of 4 blades to choose from, I like the Mercury Revolution 4 blade prop

Having just gone through putting tabs on my boat. May I make a suggestion. Before you do anything. If going with the bennetts. Decide where you are going to put the pump, then look at where the mounting for the cylinder will land on the transom and how you are going to rout the tubing. Then get every thing you will need to instill, up front. Since the holes you will be drilling will end up above your deck. I would try to get right angle fitting. So you won’t have your tubing sticking out, where it may get damaged. If going with the lenco’s Figure out again where they also will land on the transom and how you are going to rout the wiring. A little planning a head on time will make the job easier. Also when getting the extra things I needed to install them. Bennett was very helpful. They couldn’t have been better to work with.

Going with the 12 x 12s would be a good choice, both Bennett and Lenco make that size.  If it were my boat I would install Bennett M120 10" x 12" Trim Tabs.  I installed them on my Aquasport 20' Walkaround and they were great, they had more than enough lift.  The small fins on the sides will give a bit more "bite" in the turns and may help with the sliding.  Another advantage of the M120s is that they come with shorter actuators (rams) that makes it easier to mount them under a swim platform if you have one.

Saltfly has some excellent points, I mounted my pump up forward and you will need additional tubing to do that.  Using the 90 degree fittings is also a good idea depending where the tubing enters the transom.  I would be happy to help with any additional parts you might need.

Hey Tom, Again thanks for your help when I did my tabs. After running them on my 222ccp. I'm going to put them on my 19-6 next. But first I'm closing in my transom. So the pump will stay at the transom.

Walt,
Having the pump at the transom is an easier install, from a rigging standpoint.  Try to install it where it is relatively easy to get to, should you ever have to top off the reservoir.  A little tip on securing the pump in it's bracket.  Tighten the bottom 2 screws snug, but not over tight.  Tighten the top 2 screws so that they just basically hold the bracket in place, but allow you to easily lift the pump out for any servicing or TS'ing.  Tom's cool with this method, I bet even he mounts his pumps this way...

Yup, I'm cool with Bob's method of installing the bracket!

I installed the pump forward on my boat since there was no room aft, but if you have room in the stern where it is reasonably dry then by all means mount it there.

Hey Bob I read on another post you made about install the bracket that way. And I learned a long time ago to listen to those that know what they are doing :thumleft: .  So that is what I did. When I close in my transom, Which I hope to do this winter. I’m putting two access hatches in. So the pump will be covered and easy to get to.  Sorry trevor650 didn’t mean to hijack your thread. But if you listen to seabob and tabmans suggestions. Install will be much easier. Also I went with the m120 bennett's on my 222 ccp. And they work great on that boat. I'm going with the same tabs on my 19-6, when I do that boat. they have all the lift I need on the ccp. So I except them to be even better on the smaller one. I installed them outboard as far as I could to keep the hose out of harms way. so I'm a little farther then bob puts his. I going to put them just where bab does on the 19-6.  If you go to the post I made on tabs. you will see pic's of what I did and what bob suggests. do it the way he does. :thumleft:

I personally think it's good feature, but I think for a boater who is keenly aware of what's going on with his boat at all times, the auto-retract is pretty much unnecessary.  But if you have dropped the tabs a bit to bring the bow down, then operated the boat the remainder of the trip at slower speeds where the tabs being down a bit didn't really affect performance (and therefore you may have forgotten they are extended a bit), it's a great feature.

JMHO...
