The problem is when some "controls" the TV....

Rick, exactly. SB, its tough to share when in order to get the remote you have to pry it out of her fingers.

It probably wouldn't be so bad if there was some middle ground, like Nat Geo or History or a movie of interest, etc.

Instead, it's E Entertainment, or Real Housewives, or some other crap starring rich reality sluts. Now the trash du jour is O W N.

Scott, I guess I could go get a trailer and drag it in the side yard. Get a dorm fridge, a nice leather recliner, and a BIG Samsung. Heck, might make a good place to sleep if need be :pale:

CJ, just read your advice. Thanks for the good idea, but she HATES oysters. But betcha if Dr. Phil said they were good for you, she'd slurp 'em like it was her job.

JJ, just read yours too. Good idea, and thanks.  Our spare BR is where she keeps her plants. A LOT of plants, especially now that she is bringing them all indoors.

Hey, I love my wife guys...but this TV controversy thing is getting old.

Exactly why I created the cave.  We watch a lot of TV together but if I go to pee when I get back it's on okra, dr phil, or that butthole chef.

No MNF tonight. I have however determined that the "Housewives of Beverly Hills" are a bunch of size zero saline-injected cokeheads.

Have examined their mannerisms. Twitchy collagen yips, index fingers rubbing the bases of their nostrils, grinding ultra-white porcelains...all of the classic "tells".

I have been checking out their site again this morning. They make all kinds of outdoor products.

All fun aside...it is a sad time in this great country when we can't even make a sleeping bag.

That's an upgrade to some of the homes I saw in the back country over there.

Absolutely we could. But we don't.

Hey just for fun sometime today, gonna see if there is one domestically produced sleeping bag.

I'm pretty busy

Hey, good find! All of their products are made in San Jose, Ca.

I've always wanted to take the bride camping...she likes to hike, but refuses to stay in a tent.

Oh well.

Still working on a solution to the "situation."

May end up buying her a Samsung for Christmas and another cable box so she can get all of the trash channels in HD.
