Speedometer removal 215 dc

I’m trying to remove the speedometer and don’t see a way to disconnect the cable from the speedometer head.  Does it disconnect at the speedometer itself.

Capt. Bob:
Is this a stand alone analog gauge or a Yamaha multi meter digital gauge?
