New to the club
« on: September 20, 2011, 06:27:59 PM »
Hey guys and gals. I'm new to boating and new to Aquasports. I live in South Florida and recently started fishing offshore with my buddies. Long story short, I got the bug and bought 2 Aquasport hulls. I'm in a little over my head (who am I kidding I have no idea what I'm doing) and I need some direction. I just wanted to introduce myself and say that I was very happy to discover that a site like this exists. I' ve browsed a couple of the forums and I have a lot of respect for the passion that you AQUAHOLICS have for these boats. I hope someday I can look back at this post and laugh about how little knowledge I had.

Circle Hooked, I'm in Palm Beach and that sounds like a great idea. I should prob meet face to face with some people that can steer me in the right direction. I appreciate the invite, if you could fill me in on the details of date and time, that would be great.

The details aren't finished yet,our fearless leader Rick will have a poll on the date any time ,should be the first weekend or two of Nov,the main gathering would be on Saturday,we all raft up with the boats and have fun, since it sounds like your boat won't be ready,me or anyone of us could pick you up and take you back to the ramp if need be,a few of us stay the whole weekend on the boats, hope you can make it :salut:

Not that far from Marine Connection Liquidators in Ft. Pierce, a goldmine of new, but obsolete boat parts, and Pete's home away from home!

Beats going down to Miami...

LMAO seabob. Which one, the CCP or Osprey. Both trailers look ridiculous on both hulls. My buddy told me to take a chain saw to those bunks.
