Member needs our thoughts and prayers

Everyone,
I am known to occasionally lurk over on Scott's ABC site. Tonight I read a sobering post about our shared member SB4, aka Seabob4, aka Just Bob.

As many of you already know, his wife Maggie suffers from a totally worthless, insidious disease known as Cancer. She and Bob both have fought this for quite some time and today Maggie needed to be transported to the hospital suffering from complications of her treatment.

Please take a moment, in your own way to send Bob and Maggie the strength to endure this time in their lives. I truly know both of them can use your thoughts, prayers and good Karma and they will greatly appreciate it.

Thank you Bob, your kind words and thoughts are most truly appreciated.  I just got home, she wanted me back there, as, unbelievable as it seems, she gets her comfort from me being by her side...go figure.

Guys...Maggie passed away this afternoon.  She was comfortable, not in pain, just her and I in the end.  We had some great "talks", they say that patients that are unresponsive may be able to hear you...hopefully she did.
