I can imagine, bud...

I remember when I was a kid, coming down on vaca from Chicago and seeing a Piggly Wiggly, thinking..."What the hell is that?  Is that a grocery store?  And it's called Piggly Wiggly?"  But the south grows on you.  My brother and SIL have lived in Chi-town all their lives.  They can't believe we eat rice with other foods BESIDES Chinese...

So where any of you in the Publix in Ocala last week to witness the gal shopping wearing nothing more than a skimpy T shirt. :shock:

Never any excitement like that in my local Safeway   :lol:

Our local rock radio station has goofy news every morning, I got a kick out of this one thinking maybe one of you where there to see it.

Sorry Bill, haven't been to (actually, just through, on I-75) Ocala in probably 40 years.  Ocala is not exactly high on the list of destinations here in FL...

i actually like ocala.  or should i say the areas immediately around it.  my mom just sold her house out there.  spent a lot of time there.  all i can say is, you dont see many girls that make you want to look too long.  spend 5 in their local walmart.  :pale:

BUT Ocala is a pretty place to live compared to most of the sun scorched lands of FL.

Try Lake County, Rick, around the Harris Chain.  Big Lake Harris, Little Lake Harris, Lake Dora, Lake Eustis, Lake Griffin, Lake Yale.  Beautiful country, rolling, and the lakes are big.  The 230 would feel right at home there... :thumright:

Bucks birthday was just yesterday, he turned 1 year old so he still just a pup.
I think we got lucky with him, I wouldn't exactly call him laid back...he has his moments when I just have to laugh and think geez Buck you are nuts.
All in all he is turning in to a great companion, he hardly ever leaves my side. When I feed him he  will stop eating to come check out where I am then go back to eating he will do that 2 or 3 times  :lol:
He's loves attention and will lick you to death.
Lets just say he keeps me young and on my toes.  :lol:
