What is it worth 1982 222?
« on: October 11, 2022, 03:29:45 PM »
Hey guys, bought this a while back with the intentions of rebuilding it. Going a different direction and would like to recoup some money. 1982 222, t-top, aluminum trailer. I began taking everything out of the boat and unbolted the t-top and center console. I have a new poly tank and some of the hardware I removed. What is a fair asking price? Id also consider trading it possibly for a camper. Thanks for the consideration. please see the photos in my gallery Dbissy4

I remember when this was listed on FB but I am curious why it was stripped to begin with? It looked to be in good shape from what I remember from the ad that I saw. I have an 81' which is basically the same boat. Is the deck soft anywhere?

It was in nice shape when I bought it but of course with its age there were some issues. I began stripping it and sold the outboard before getting any real quotes or doing enough research. Shame on me for  being hasty/ impulsive. The deck seems solid minus one small spot near the bow which isn't rot but unsupported fiberglass approx 4" diameter circle. I already had a 4 stroke purchased and was going to repower once it was refurbed. Then...... I found a ranger 2200 bay near home that needed a motor. Got a deal on it and unfortunately momma says ones got to go. I've kinda given up on redoing it myself. If I cant sell it I guess it will sit in the yard for a while longer. Hate to see it sit though.
