I found a little newer version in the photo gallery with the anchor locker and rear inboard wells. All models, 1986-87, different graphics and blue interior but the same design. Whats interesting is it is not shown in the 1984 offering, only CCP's are shown. Lewis, what are your hull ID numbers? She did clean up nice! I wonder why we havent seen more of these?

HIN ends in 83C, October of 1983, right?

I don't know either, The pics you were talking about in the 1986 all models brochure look similar but if you look close it doesn't have the boxes in the back like mine. This one originally had captains chairs which the PO took out. Of course like you said the graphics are totally different, kind of like in the movie Hot Tub Time Machine when they first go skiing and everybody on the slopes has on dayglo colored skiwear! I'm now leaning more towards a special order hull. I just don't know anymore, all I do know is I REALLY like it!

Lewis,
She cleaned up nice. :thumleft:

If you haven't already, look at the 1980 docs in the Gallery
http://www.classicaquasport.com/gallery ... 572/page/1

Notice the line drawing in the lower left corner. That's basically your boat.
Fast forward 4 years and a few changes (console), teak rode hatch gone, hawse pipes and there ya go.
You have the combo blue/brown pin stripping and brown Aqua lettering (fuzzy about the fish hook).
My 84 also has the blue/brown pin stripe.

Nice having a "little different" model isn't it? :salut:

Nice Boat Lewis!  What a find.

That stern-box setup is typical of many boats, if you haven't thought so already, when you take her out, make sure you fill the livewell up to offset the weight of the batteries in the starboard box-

How's the deck?

Can't wait to see the boat in person  :salut:

Batteries are already in the console. It also has a 1 1/2 year old new 70 gal tank. The white spots on the deck are part of the worst caulking job I have ever seen! Anybody got any ideas on silicon removal? There is one soft spot on starboard side side of console but for now its nothing I am going to address. Its only about a foot long and about 8" wide. I like the light idea as well, Bridget not so much.  It should be a fun ride and we ca't wait to splash her!
Capt Bob the stripes are light blue, dark blue, and gold metallic. The logo is also gold metallic.

Hey Lewis,

Try some spray brake cleaner on the silicone finger painting job. I discovered it nocks the poo poo out of 5200 without hurting the gelcoat.

It must drive you crazy being able to see that damn silicone from two stories up! Looks to me like the PO had a wad of silicone stuck on bottom of  his shoe and just walked all over the boat before he got out...Brake Cleaner and an old credit card or swipe style room key and a tooth brush should do it.

The boat turned out nicer than I thought it would. I have a 86yr 22ccc look alot of the same but mine does not have to stern boxes no anchor locker either, I do have three locker on the casting deck. the rest looks the same. I just took a 200 etec off and going with a 300HPDI yamaha just for shitz and grins. Building a 250etec to go on later.

Looks like you found a "diamond in the rough" for what you got her for!  Love the spashwell area!  You also have the same color deck that I had on the 200 CCP.  I did like that color!

Lewis, This is too wierd, I live 500 miles from Savannah, and you and I bought our boats within a 5 mile radius of eachother.... "The aquasport zone... do not attempt to adjust your computer, you are no longer in control, they are"     I bought mine at the Savannah Yacht Club on Whitemarsh Island.
