Even with the bracket i'll bet a.s. left little or no access to bilges/ wiring etc. !!!(My biggest complaint about my boat).

I can see everything but I cant touch anything.

This is what it looks like from on board.  You really need 5' long arms to get to anything in the bilge.  If I was only a basketball player..........[

hey doc got trim tabs? After putting them on my boat i couldn't imagine not having them. If not i highly suggest them. I put bennett's on mine, and would prefer to recommend bennetts based on their great customer service and ultra professionalism, but regretably i think lenco tabs are better suited to smaller boats. The hydraulic pump on the bennets take up space and is a $375 part if it burns out. Mine also had a tiny chronic leak that logically went right to the bilge, but the worst part was accessing the pump. The only place i found to mount the pump was difficult to access. The leak could have been my fault when installing, but i followed the install directions to the letter. I would bet one hydraulic line got too kinked and slightly damaged in the the tight ass bilge when snaking it during install. The bennetts have an electric and hydraulic element to them. The lenco's only electric, they don't require the space needed for mounting the pump, or the cost of replacing a burnt out one

Yes I have tabs.  They are great.  Especially with a boat with so much weight aft.  A couple of presses and the boat is level.  They come in handy when your guests dont understand trim and all hang together on one side chatting.
I have bennet tabs and they work amazingly well.  No leaks yet.

Looks like I'm going to make the trek to Tampa for the get together--hope to see you there.

Forgive me if this has already been covered....

I'm wondering if you have a 20" motor when you should have a 25".  What's the model no. of your Merc?  25" will end in XL.
