Yes I did pour all the way up the sides. The Arjay stops about 2-3 inches from the top. I actually have two downrigger rod holders on the back of the boat I removed and poured the Arjay through the holes into the top outside of the transom. The only reason I did not go to the very top was I couldnt really get to it and I needed the back side just lower so I could run a hose from the funnel into the cavity for the Arjay.
