1979 center 246 console w/ cabin

THIS IS MY FIRST POST AND I'M BRAND NEW BUT I'VE BEEN READING ALL ABOUT THESE BOATS ON HERE FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS AND I WANTED TO SHARE IN THE TASK I HAVE.  MY DAD HAS A 79 246 CCP THAT HE AND I RE-DID BACK IN THE LATE 80'S.  NOW I HAVE THE TASK OF SELLING HER OR USING HER.  I WANTED TO GET YOUR OPINION ON HOW WELL THIS BOAT WOULD DO OFFSHORE AND IF ANYONE HAD MORE INFO ON SUCH THE MODEL.  THANKS!!

You have to put your pics on the web on a host site (like photobucket.com) then you can post them on this site with the host site address.

You don't need to go anywhere else to post pictures - follow the instructions about 10 posts down the topic here - when you start seeing the step-by-step pix, you'll see it's quite easy.

Well, I got the pix of her up.  I hope there is something I can do to spruce her up amd make her better.  The first thing I'm doing is taking off that bad vinyl sun top!  Have a look in the photo gallery section.  Thanks Rick for the help.

Glad the instructions helped for uploading Dominic, now take it one step further and save everyone going to the photo gallery by adding them to your post.  Follow the rest of the instructions in the link I posted on "adding pix to your posts" - like this (BTW - nice looking boat  )

The 246 CCP is just about my dream boat.  If she is solid - and you should know if you did the restoration yourself - don't even think about selling her.  The 246 is built like a tank - much heavier construction than the 222 CCPs of the same era (I had a 1982 222 CCP until recently).  It rides great, has tons of room and still gets into very skinny water with no problems.
