Finally Installed My new Suzuki DF 80 on the old Aquasport this is Motor #4 1st a Evinrude 75 3CYL,Evinrude 90 V4,Mercury Inline 6 115 finally
gave out after 1,800 hrs.Boat is still Strong After 31 years of hard use in
Long Island sound

Looks great! I'd be interested in your performance numbers. How does the new Zuke compare with the older motors?

I had an inline 6 115 that was bored out (cowling had 150 decals) and my 170 screamed - instant facelift when you stepped out from behind the windshield at close to or WOT  :shock:

        Boat was a screamer with the 115 merc did 47mph not much
boat left in the water at that speed ,did that side to side chine walk.Boat
should top out around 38mph with 80 suke burning aroung 7gph.At cruise
4,000 rpm with get around 9 mpg
