Well here are some pictures of what I have completed,It's been tough my Father-in-law has been told he has cancer and has been going for treatment, between going and seeing him, cutting their grass, and just spending time with him,the wife is a wreck so this boat has been put on the back burn for now,and then theres work, life, fishing it's been tough any way heres what I've done

These are 3/8/plywood that replaced the rotten balsacore

this was the cracked stringer

These are 3/8 plywood also they replaced the rotten balsacore

I also retabbed all the stringer back with 6in 1708 then 12in 1708

Hopefully in the next week or so I'll be able to get the Transom cut, fitted, and glass in, rigging tubes, order the new tank fuel fill, vent then start decking,Oh yea there was a little trip down to the condo in Port Charlotte, did so snook fishing at Vence inlet,If anybody has suggestion please chime in Thanks Doug :salut:

You are getting a GOOD job. Set it back as you need to, and take care of the fam first, especially here at the holidays.

Experiencing the Big C myself with someone close. Know the feeling.

Best to you and yours, and all,

Scott

Hello all, it's been awhile since I posted and boy I have had alot happen besides my father-in-law having cancer and going thru chemo. On July 12,2010 I got the worst call of all from my daughter she found her mom-mom had past away in the night (Mom lived with us for the summers) wintered in Venice, Fla. So between dealing with my father-in-law and my mothers service and that whole scene, not alot has been done, until last weekend needed to clear my head and think about something else so off to the lumber yard and picked up the plywwod for the transom and started to cut and fit and get ready for some glass

Started fairing the area in the bilge so I can paint it and start the decking

And I have fixed the big hatch recored and started to fair that out

Heres a before picture

Oh ya did do a little tuna fishing in the beginning of the month

256lb Bigeye caught aboard the "Fish Trap" out of Beach Haven,New Jersey and the angler was Sue Kaiser  . That's me at the bottom of the picture  :salut:
