1974 19-6 Redo the deck soon

Just wondering if anyone has looked into using Polycarbonate panels for the decking on an Aquasport? My deck is getting a few soft spots and was looking at the polycarbonate panels at Home Depot. Looking at that for keeping the weight down. Any input would be great good or bad. Or should i just go back with plywood?  :roll:

Do not know anything about polycarbonate, but there are several composite options you can pursue that are meant for fiberglass sandwich construction - first on my list would be nidacore.  It is light, and fairly easy to work with.

You will have adhesion problems with the poly. Only problem I see with the plastics. The nida-core is what I'm using, very easy to use and cheap for composite.
