Quote from: "Undertow2"
Took her out yesterday for a maiden offshore run.  We went 30 miles out of John's Pass.  We hit the Betty Rose and some other spots out further looking for some King action and wanted to refit the freezer with some grouper.  All wishes were granted.  2 Kings, 4 BIG gags, and I even caught a 10 pound mangrove snapper.  Bait was wadded up everywhere 2 miles offshore.  For the doubters:

The 22-2 performed well.  Seas were 1-2 in the morning I was able to keep about 30-34 mph quite easily with the hull doing what it was designed to do, with the aid of trim tabs.  Seas got to a strong 2-3 on the way back still managed 24 mph with some spray in the face here and there.  You gotta love that ride.  Like butta.  Not quite sure yet but am pretty sure I am getting well over 5 mpg.  Very satisfied with that.

Photos coming, I swear.

sure....ill believe it when i see it!

At this point I am thinking of just firing off photos next Saturday at the gathering and posting those.  I did get the day off so I am in like Flynn.

Surely you all have been curious as to why I haven't finished posting final
pictures, the answer is that more pressing matters have prevailed.  We found
out unexpectedly that we're pregnant!!  Will over at Bayside was gracious
enough to find a buyer for us until a later time when we can do it all over
again.  She's a beaut and will remain local at home in South Tampa with
another classic AS enthusiast.
