Boat came out great! Exactly what I want to do on my 196.   Is that the stock console?

Thank you for the pictures, I actually may modify the stringers as you did for my tank! Did you use a 2x6 as a backer and then glassed it?

I made the stringers and bulkheads from scratch. I made these molds for them - left is for bulkheads and right is for stringers.




As for what I used to notch and form where the tank sits I used the left form above - it has a 90 degree side and bottom to it and I ended up with a "L" looking piece when hardened.

I notched the stringers and then pulled them out of the boat and laminated the ledge into the stringers while on saw horses.
