Title: Yamaha F115 question
Post by: 71flatback on November 30, 2009, 10:39:02 AM
First of all, my four stroke 115 sat for about a year before i got it on the boat with the fuel drain. The motor runs great, but every once in a while it stalls when i put it in reverse. It always cranks right back up. I was wondering if this was probably just a little gummed up fuel in the injectors. If it is what should i use to take care of it?

A number of us on the FJR 1300 Forum use this.http://www.seafoamsales.com/motor-treatment/index.html

Don't have a 4 stroke Yamaha outboard but do have a inline 4 stroker in the FJR.  :thumright:
I would think this would work as good as anything else.
You might try and raise the idle just a tad.
