Found a 70's aquasport 22-2 I wanna make an offer wondering what would be a good offer it's been 80% stripped the stringers are gone the front deck is still there and the transom is still there. It is sitting on a tandam axle unsure of it's condition looks like it's been sitting there for awhile. Any info would be great new here thanks.

Does it have the console? Rigging for an engine? What kind of trailer?
-
No has nothing except the hull and trailer and i couldn't tell you what kind of trailer
-
Is it for sale or just sitting there and you want to make an offer? I would say rough guess in that shape anywhere from $500-1500 but it's hard to guess without seeing it.
-
The people that own it are scrapers have a huge lot full of random stuff boats equipment ECT. I noticed it and wanted to go make an offer I would even say he can keep the trailer.
-
Ahh, gotcha. Well probably the best bet is to just have a chat with them and feel them out. Sometimes people can be super proud of things and sometimes the just want to get rid of it. Either way I would say one of the biggest factors would be if they have a clean title or not. And know that whatever you end up paying will definitely be the cheapest part. ;-)

300-400 hull only good offer?
-
The big question is it very early 70s or later. I belive the last year for the flatback was 72?
-
I'm gonna stop by and get some more info thank you for all your help I'll hopefully get some pictures and post back thank you

Here are the pictures I got my guess is it's a proline not an aquasport but here ther are i appreciate all the advice on it.

Prolines and Makos were direct competitors of Aquasport and we have seen (and welcomed) their rebuilds here. Mostly Prolines so....
Here's a link to the forum that supports these classic hulls.

I have started you on the last page so you could see how well they turn out. Take a little time to browse through this forum (it's not long) and see if it is something you might wish to undertake.
Good luck. :thumright:

Yeah, there is a cult following for the early Proline hulls also. You can see where there was wood stringers in this hull.
