I have a 1979 176 family fisherman
The transom and deck are starting to get soft
Does anyone have experience removing the cap/tub
My last boat that I restored also had a similar cap/tub but I cut the deck out and cut the splashwell at the gunnels
I’m trying to avoid all the fairing and gain better access to the stringers under the cabin if the foam is wet
