« on: April 19, 2006, 01:27:04 PM »
Any recommendations as to best deals on glass cloth, roving, polyester resin and epoxy?  Any suppliers to avoid?

Ask Warthog or he will chime in sooner or later.

Will try Merton's site. Maybe take a drive up there to check them out.  I'll also try searching here and on the Mako site to see if warthog has advised on this.  I should have done that before asking...

This place is in my area and I think Wart had this link in his list.  Here, they ship everywhere.

You can also try http://www.fgci.com/ in St. Pete Fla.

But the shipping is going to kill you.

Think there's one over in Waterford CT.  That price beats others.  Thanks for the tip.

Are you planning on using polyester or epoxy resin?

Both.  For structurals I'll use epoxy, for minor things I'll use polyester.
