1985 250 ccp refit with upgrades

Hi guys I'm a newbie and would like to introduce my self my name is Earl I'm an avid offshore fisherman and IMHO own one of the best boats built!

I bought her in 2000 and refitted her with a new motor yamaha 250 ox66 on a bracket,new fuel tank,t-top,electronics and my feeble attempt to close the open transom. Every year since something has been re-done and now she is fitted to my needs for an offshore fishing dream. These are some pictures taken during the phases of work.

Thanks, I wish I could take all the credit but I have to give all the glass,gelcoat,and paint to my buddy who owns Three Brothers Marine in Jax.,Fl. he is like a brother but the design and layout is my creation, and the insatll once he finished.It was nice to use his shop 10 miles from the house.

Of all the fishing lines that Aquasport made, the CCP , especially the 250 CCP, is the ultimate in "anywhere" fishing.
How's the single 250 push her along? The 250 I have on my 230 pushes her to 40 and that's it.  Different style boat though - I wouldn't exactly say front heavy but different for sure.

I have had her up to 42 knots @ 5500 rpm all trimed out flat seas with a little wind chop. Her best operating speed is 32 knots or around 4200 rpm best ride and fuel savings.
Your right about the 250 ccp it has the best all around fishing platform,ride,troll,and @ anchor. Which is why I put the time and money in her.

Looks like you recessed the lid of your above deck fish box into the deck up front?  I am interested in some picts if you have any of the space available under the deck and between the stingers in this area?  I'm considering moving my fuel tank forward to better balance the hull and prevent  the stern from getting wet from back wash of the deck drains on my 82 246 CCP.
