The liner on the 70/71 170 came in a couple different configs: Either uncut like yours or with inserts like mine. I have not seen another one like mine. Later in the first year or two they cut out the liner for fishing pole racks and added edge protection to the cut out, but it wasn't like the inserts like mine.
When you take another pic, take one of what is aft of the helm seat. I still have the original fiberglass helm seat, so we can see the lids you are talking about. Is your fuel tank inside your console?
We have a member or two that say they have a '69 170. I think they had a Aquasport Custom 170 badge.
