Just a random sort of question...not pertaining to any particular boat.

What is the general consensus on outboard brackets?  And what is the general thought on the smallest boat a bracket can be used on...21', 20' 19', 18'...???

That is indeed very informative and probably as much or more info than I really wanted...but I did learn a few things and that is what is important.  Thanks for posting the link!  8)
