Title: Beware - Outboard theft ring

Word is many outboards were stolen in Pinellas county last night. Sorry I don't have more details. Beware and pass on the word.

Until Florida law requires outboard registration, Florida will continue to be the hotbed of outboard thefs

Outboard registration, hell no.. there is less than 1% of boat owners in the USA, I don't need to pay more registration fee's every year..

A state law requiring outboard registration will do nothing to deter outboard theft as these stolen motors are shipped overseas.

Unfortunately there isn't a piece of paper in the world that's going to stop a thief from taking what they want.

And how would you know that ? So tell me why Fl. is the hotspot for stolen outboards? Why is it that us northern states don't have a problem with our registered OB's
