Pimp Our Aquasport!
« on: November 09, 2007, 09:02:46 AM »
Calling all restoration companies, engine dealers, tower manufacturers, electronics dealers, and anyone else who makes products or offers services geared towards shallow water boats in general and/or Aquasports in particular.

The official ClassicAquasport.com vessel, a 1976 22'2", is in need of a face-lift (or more precisely, radical reconstructive surgery). The goal is to have the boat relaunched within the next 12 months as the finest example of a restored Aquasport anywhere. The boat will bear the name "ClassicAquasport.com" in order to further publicize this forum and significantly increase our membership. Participating vendors and service providers will receive prominent hull space where their logo will appear (think NASCAR). In addition to hull advertising and signage, vendors will enjoy free promotion on the ClassicAquasport.com web site, as well as special posting privileges and access to members.

If your company would like to participate in this project and receive the subsequent promotional benefits, please send an email to tom@classicaquasport.com. Please describe the nature of your business, what services you offer, and references (including recent work completed and preferably photos). Obviously, since this boat will be the "face" of ClassicAquasport.com, we will evaluate proposals carefully and select only the best vendors and service providers for this project. Of course, if you are chosen, your products and logo will be featured on the pinnacle of rebuilds and your performance heralded far and wide not only on ClassicAquasport.com, but also by our rabid members in their local communities.

Apply today, as applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis, with a decision to be announced within the next few weeks.

Good luck!

But nobody, and I mean NOBODY, can out-pimp Stefano Gabbana's boat "Vinny Lee"  - this is amazingly pimped!  Check out the pictures - see all 10 of them to get the full effect - these show the more tastful parts of the boat - some others are just, uh, well, uh, amazing...  Remember:  This is a boat!

OK first off I'm a new member here :salut: , So I will intro myself a bit. I have been doing fiberglass work and boat re-building most of my life.
I had a custom boat shop in Miami but got tired of all the ... well, Miami.
So I moved to north Fl.(Crystal River) and purchased the Yankeetown Marina back in 1999.
I now have the marina running smoothly on it's own and have completed my new workshop behind my home.
That being said... Lets see some picks of this wanna be pimped Aquasport.
Maybe we can have some fun with it?

Heres a boat I built for myself to fish the rocky shores of Yankeetown.
Please excuse where the post comes from but...

I also just purchased a 22.2 aquasport, I just havn't decided what I want to do with it yet? If I keep her I might cut a tunnel in her? But I hate to do something like that to a classic boat.
