Title: rub rail caps?

Does anyone know where I can find the endcaps for the rub rail (1976 170) that screw onto the gunnels at the transom?

nole76, sometime a while ago, if memory serves, there was some discussion on the forum about original AS green rub rail availability and I believe somebody, maybe Captain or Wilson found the original manufacturer who is still in business.  I think the name of the manufacturer was mentioned.  It may be the end caps were a standard item and not unique to AS and that they're still made.

 Sorry to be so vague on the details but hopefully this will point you in the right direction.  If you do find the caps, I need a pair too. Mine are oxidized & have turned green/blue/black & are glued on.

I bought mine at Marine Surplus here in my neck of the woods (they're in Bradenton, Fl).  They are exactly what their name says and don't know if they do anything but walk-in business.  Seemed to be a pretty standard part - bought the new rub rail and caps from them.

Thanks for the responses - I can't locate the endcaps in the original green, but I did find them in black at Hopkins-Carter in Miami.
