Im still trying to figure out if I can make it.  Meredith (my wife) has to work that Saturday, and there's no way Im bringing out 2 young boys by myself.   She's trying to switch that Saturday for another date, but still up in the air at this point.  We'll see what happens. I really want to make this one.

Got my helm seals fixed, the lower unit done and t stats, stuff I was to lazy to mess with myself.

Alright Guys I'm in for the 24th. The boys are taken care of for the the day and Meredith switched Saturdays so I'll have a good first mate.  Are we still planning on Egmont?  Sounds good if so.

I have a few questions... I'm a huge noob to fishing from a boat. I mean, I can drink beer and cast all day, but I'd like to broaden my spectrum to actually catching some stuff that's edible. What kind of fishing are we going to be doing at egmont? I just want to have an idea so I know if there is some stuff I need to pick up.

Second, although I know I'm not going to be able to splash as early as you all, I'd like to put in near some of the clearwater guys so we can cruise back together. I have no goal of what time to be home.

I think so - his boat will probably not be ready (redoing his hardtop) but he'll come along with me, at least as of today.  Are we camping out Friday?  I think I'm good to go that day.  Haven't looked at the forecast yet though.

WAY too early to look at the forecast!  I've been working on the boat.  The more I dig into that thing the more I like it.  I picked up a service kit for my wash down/live well pump.  Went to go work on it thinking it was going to be tricky in such a tight spot...  OH wait look it's wired with a disconnect plug...  oh and I just pop up these little clips and the hose barbs slide out...  four screws later and the pump was in my hand..  Took one minute... sweet!    I was sniffing around sticking my head down in the storage lockers in the cuddy..  Hey this thing has what looks like a full inner hull liner..  Nice!    OK I' way off topic...  the point is I'm getting her ready!  I can't wait!

Still alittle early but the forecast for Friday looks decent, south wind at 10-15

Seems all week it is out of a East - SE direction.  Then Friday it swings from the NE - some front coming through?
