There, now a thread all it's own!  I'm in, have permission from Maggie (she encouraged it!! ), so, times, place, and hopefully Ma Nature cooperates!

We had great success (well, pretty decent success) at Indian Key this past weekend, although, as temps warm, and the water warms, may find better takings elsewhere.

Count me in!  I like the idea of a place that is good for north and south members.  We never made it to Egmont Key.  Keep in mind at the moment I have two Aquas I could bring!  Just need a second captain!  LOL

Just food for thought - Aaron works at the Harborage Marina in St. Petersburg which happens to share dockage with Fish Tales restaurant.  This is exactly 16 miles from the Northern tip of Egmont Key.  

I'll probably drop in at Crisp Park and cruise over to wherever it is you all are meeting (if Egmont that would be a 20mile run).  

On the way back, I will stop by Fish Tales for a beer/tequila/anything-over-6% and say hello to Aaron.

Definitely in for this one, assuming I can get the boat ready in time. I'm based out of Bradenton at the moment, so Egmont is an easy choice, if my $0.02 were worth anything. I'd be game for just about anywhere, though.

Any set plans yet? We going to be doing fishing or cruising? I just updated my license for the trip in case we fish. (but I'm a noob, so what that really means is that I can watch you guys and copy all your good habits) I work Friday night, and I won't be off till 3am, so I probably won't be out Saturday until about 10ish. I'll just call one of you if it's ok to get the coordinates and meet up. Where do you think you will be putting in at?

Just shoot me a PM when you get a chance for contact info.  We will also monitor the VHF, although I think we need to pick a new channel.

I'll probably launch from O Neil's or Maximo.  If I feel like running the boat I may launch from the Veterans ramp.
