The place that is doing my '73 AS is just finishing up this '69 ProLine flatback.

This boat had new stringers, new deck, new transum, complete job.  Very similiar to what mine is going through.

Nice boat.   :D

Don't think there was any connection between Proline and AS Jim.

The old prolines I looked at had a slightly shorter casting deck than the AS, but other- wise were very similar.

On another note - is that trailer too short?  Can't tell how far back the bunks go.

Stem to Stren is the company name.
They are located on Hillsbrough Ave right near the Veterans, behind Bob's Carpet Mart.  Been there for a while.

any idea of how much it cost to get that Proline back into it's current shape?  sure is pretty.  hope to have my 69 FB looking very similar in the next year.

No idea what the Proline costs. Depends on the starting condition what really needs to be done.

I was told when Dan Attwood started Pro Line he took an Aquasport 22-2 and just added two feet to the rear.  Even his first the first titles showed the Pro to be 24-2.  They were called Attwoods in the beginning.  I ran across a crabber using one and he told me it was Attwood #8.

Tommy at Hammerhead has done several Proline 24s and is completing one for a friend of mine.  Go to his website and see the pics.

You are right that the PRoline 24 is a lengthened 222.  Same exact beam.
