So, after determining that both engine's rigging and the steering hoses would fit in the rigging sleeve...



Here's what I have come up with, albeit all totally temporary pending approval...and new rigging sleeving...,







Keep in mind, no primer bulbs in the pick as that involves cutting fuel lines, and I don't think we're ready to do that yet.

This ain't gonna be easy, especially getting the holes cut in the sleeving for each break-out point.  And I STILL don't like poking holes in that pretty transom.  Had to drill 2 today (don't worry, c'sunk, no gel chipping) to secure the rigging and give it the "look" I wanted...

OK Scott, here's the starboard side (port side cut and ground as well) under gunnel glass cut out, and some grinding done...




the speakers fit nicely!





As I was telling you, the pressed in threaded fittings for the brackets are probably 1/4-20...they are.



So now will be the fun part...mounting them.

Electronics are permanently installed and wired...





Battery trays and terminate the cables...



Coming out of the rigging chase up into the console that has yet to be hooked up.  The shift/throttle cables and the steering lines.

Under gunnel LEDs, here is a test fit...







Speakers installed, LED tape lights epoxied in place (that's what all the masking tape is for while the epoxy kicked off).

Well, as Scott promised, the "panels" showed up today.  1/16" thick.  Yes, that's correct.  Scott had told me that the material was a bit flimsy...well, there's flimsy and then there is FLIMSY!



Cut the hole in the dash, leaving as much material as I could to give the "panel" as much backing as I could...



The panel with the switches illuminated...

Back lighting...



PVC L-channel attached to the top sides of the switches with 3M 2-sided foam tape (the good stuff, can hang 5 lbs. with it), then 2 strips of blue LEDS attached to the L-channel with the same foam tape.  



Effect achieved.

Final engine rigging today, except for hooking up the shift and throttle cables.  That will come after I install the binnacle, as we make all our adjustments at the engine end...given a properly installed binnacle.





And adapter ends on the cables?



 Trim/Tilt panel of Scott's work...and I didn't know if the little piece of plastic would withstand enlarging the holes without crumbling in my hands...so, I made my own...



switch panel installed and wired, the primer bulbs complete, the forward LEDs complete, the port speaker wired, the console light done, and the trim ring around the footrest secured from the inside...
