Transom hatches access on a Osprey 24.5 question
« on: June 27, 2012, 06:14:48 PM »
On my transom (starboard side) is a couple of doors.
One small to access batteries, battery switch and my y valve.
Above it is my really small tackle station with a few plano boxes.
Would I do structual damage if I were to cut out the space between the two doors and have one large access?
I think I would be OK for structure, just looking for opinions
of people who know.
Also, if this is OK, who should I have make the replacement door?
I know there are a couple companys, I would like to stay with people we like.

Thanks as always

Bryan

No structural problems whatsoever.  The later year Ospreys had one large opening...

Corner of 520 and A1A...
