Classic proline 20 rebuild

(1/5) > >>

backdraft1887:
Hello everyone my name is evan and i recently bought a old flatback proline. I statrted the process of cutting the liner and floor out. and she sits on a cradle i bulit for the overhall. My plans are a half tower with enclosed transom and porta bracket. Ive lurked on her for a long time and finally decided to get my hand dirty. Look forward to any advise along the way!

Heres her new home for a while...

Deck Daddy:
I like the cradle. Building the same thing for my rebuild to work on her in the garage this winter. Good luck with the build, those 20's have nice lines.

RickK:
If you do the rebuild anything like the cradle, it'll be a stout boat. :thumleft:

Here are some more pics

This is after i cut the liner out, looks like someone had reglassed the front part of the floor once

Heres the beginning of gutting her

Got the rest of the floor out and most of the foam. I went to lift the cap from the transom and the other owner had glassed it to the hull. should i just cut it off with a cut off wheel?
