Towing covered or uncovered?

Planning on towing my 225 Expl. from northern Michigan to Cape Coral, FL this coming winter. Hence  the question- Is it better to tow covered or uncovered?
I've never towed this boat more than 25 miles one-way at 55 mph.  Also, I know this is a completely different topic, but does anyone have any advice on changing my sacrificial anodes on my Johnson 115hp ocean pros.
