1975 22-2. Yamaha 150 4 stroke?
« on: February 08, 2016, 02:11:24 PM »
I am looking at buying a 1975 22-2 hull and putting a new yamaha 4 stroke on the back.

The price jump from 150 to 200 is HUGE.  I was wondering if anyone has experience with a 150.  How does it perform???

Plenty of power and performance, only issue you may want to consider is weight of the outboard.

Thanks for the input.  I had decided that the 150 was going to be the way to go - based on similar boats that Yamaha had run tests on.

Closer inspection of the hull showed it was a LEMON.  So i have moved on - will end the thread here!

40 years old... they are all lemons in 1 way or another at this point! haha.

would be cool to have a "Bermuda/Bahamas" Aquasport though.
