WTB 150 - 200 hp Outboard for 83 Aquasport 210

Looking for replacement 150 - 200hp outboard for our 1983 Aquasport 210WA. Boat is rigged for Johnson/Evinrude, however, will switch brands as well as controls are included.

You probably won't be interested but I have a 2001 Mercury 200 2-stroke carbureted that ate a piston. I even have the service manual for it to facilitate it's reconstruction and I think the controls and oil tank are still available (it's in consignment).

I'll tell you why I was so interested in your hull. You describe it as a 210 Walkaround (WAC). The earliest model that I have proof of (210 and 230) WACs is 1991. In 92 they were renamed as Explorers (EX) and remained so till Aqua's demise in 2005.

I have been searching for the "missing link" between the Hialeah hulls (yours) and the Genmar hulls circa 1990. You have what is officially known as a 200 XF (Express Fisherman) Hialeah built hull, circa 1983. Walkaround is a fairly generic name for these type hulls but again, Aquasport labeled them as Express Fisherman (a great name IMHO). You do have Aqua's best ever decal with the "fishhook" p.

I did upload some photos, Just un covered boat today and capacity sticker lists hull model as 20WA, Will up load photo in correct forum. I agree on Aquasport graphics. Thinking of repainting chalky hull and having new vinyl made up.
