Title: Rigging Sleeve Hack?
Post by: CTsalt12 on May 02, 2018, 09:28:04 AM
Hi All,

I need to replace my rigging sleeve going from my outboard to where the engine wires and cable meet the hull of my boat.  I need to do this without taking all the wiring/cables out, because that would be a huge PITA.  Meaning, I need a sleeve that I can fit around the cables.

I see I can get a zippered harness here, about 50 bucks shipped.

I'm wondering if anyone knows any nice cheap hacks here.  Was almost thinking a wire loom, but they don't seem to make them above 2.5 inches, which I believe is a bit too narrow.  Any ideas here?

Hmmm, did the tool I bought have that hole for a ratchet in it? If it did, I didn't notice and it's genius. (Now I have to go out and check)
