Ojay, welcome aboard!

Captain John, thanks for starting this thread :thumright:

Friends, all of your ideas have been great, and this thread has been fun too. To me, it is important that we enjoy a sense of fellowship and comradery here. On-topic technical discussion is important...but not every thread should read as an instruction manual.

I have reached a decision.

Her name will remain "Miss Delmarva" :thumright:

Many of you made that recommendation, and as Bill said...it would be like changing the name of your two year old dog

I won't be putting her name on...but I did get to thinking about my girls when they were little and their affinity for "My Little Pony".

So while I was researching the images...turned out Hasbro made a BUNCH of them...all with different names and meanings. So I know this sounds kinda wuss...but as a tribute to my daughters, may have a small vinyl sticker made of this one

You guys know I'm kinda different... or as Farley says, I "take the short bus"

Anyhow...."Miss D" she is!!

Miss Double D is pretty catchy and a great play on words.  I like it.

Miss D...I have her next to the shop, hell, I worked on her today, got the horn grill from Worst that Scott and I discussed, so the horns (yes, plural, as in more than 1) are installed.  Just have to wait for the NEW photobucket to do what I want it to do...

Scott could call her "Alien clingon warship from hell", and all of Wilmington may actually like that...but she will always be Miss Delmarva, or Miss D for short... :thumleft:  :thumleft:  :thumleft:

I finished up the Palmetto today, so now Miss D has my undivided attention...well, that, and taking apart the Glacier Bay!  The 740s should be here in a couple days, still waiting on the Fusion stereo, that takes care of the electronics "box".  I'm going to be getting into the console to start my wire routing in the next couple of days...LOT'S OF FUN!!!

BTW Scotty, this one's for you...

Thanks SB!

And thanks to everyone for your great ideas :thumright:

Her name was based on origin...as was her predecessor. If memory serves....'twas CJ who named her 2 1/2 years ago.

Thanks again guys :salut:
