Floscan
« on: May 24, 2007, 09:34:50 PM »
I just recently bought a 22' Sandpiper. I noticed I have a floscan installed in lieu of a tachometer and gas gauge. It is the 7000 series. I just filled up the 85 gallon tank full and was informed that the floscan should be reset every time you fill up so you know how much your burning and what is in the tank. Anyone have a handle on how to reset this?

Go here, click on the type you have and an installation manual will appear (if you have adobe reader installed - you can get adobe reader at the top of the form also)

I browsed through the installation manual.  I did not see any operating instructions.

That makes two of us. Browsed the whole thing and found nothing. I emailed them this morning so I will wait to see what they say.

I found it but didn't read it - was it in chinese?   Seems odd not to have the Ops in there too.  Sorry for the diversion.

I have installed the analog floscans and knew they required a reset button.  I was not going to guess on the digital ;)

Hey Guys, thanks for all the help. I actually located a pull out switch that was the reset for the Floscan. I tried to see what switches went where and I was able to figure it out by process of elimination.
