Hello all ..first time poster long time lurker. My name is Bob i have a 98 225 exp wacc I live way out here in cal, think I've seen one other aquasport since I bought mine back in may. my question is what to use for the up drain tube in the livewell,I've jerry rigged some pvc from the hardware but cant seem to find something that would fit without leaking. any advise would be greatly apreciated.
Side note i dont uderstand why there isn't a lot of aquasports out here its a hell of a boat for the offshore stuff we do out here.
Thanks again...................Bob

Welcome aboard Bob :!: :!:
As far as I know we have one other member in Cal - Fishhead, with a 230 Explorer (and a humongous garage which we're still waiting to see the finished pix of  ).

Bob,
Are you talking about a standpipe type overflow drain for a live well? If so I know a place that has the tubes and the rubber fitting for one end to "plug" it into the livewell.

Another option is another drain near the top of the well plumbed into the drain under the well. Just put a transom plug in the bottom and turn it on.

Just do a Google search for T. H. Marine Overflow Drain Tubes. Heck, they even show up as available at amazon.com or just order them from http://www.thmarine.com/product.cfm?PRID=67 (http://www.thmarine.com/product.cfm?PRID=67). They come in several different sizes so measure the hole before you order.

Anyone-
On my 95 Ex 225, my livewell drain tube (the one with the plunger type rubber gasket) comes off too easily when underway. Is there a better aftermarket option, or do I have to go homemade, like something with a threaded seal?
Thanks,
Keith
